1956 – Innovation: Merchandise to motivate
Zane Peavey, (The White Sail toilet tissue baby!) Joins father Lynn, and opens The Peavey Corporation in Lenexa Kansas. Starting as an AD Agency and logo’d merchandise promotion company, Zane then becomes a manufacturers rep. selling individual merchandise items to banks and companies to incentivize sales.
